AI & User Content Policy

Media you upload

Only upload photos and videos you own or have clear permission to use. Do not upload media scraped from someone else's account, stock libraries you have not licensed, or copyrighted footage.

Likeness and voice

If a real person appears or is heard in your upload, you must have their informed permission to animate, restyle or voice them.

Do not create content that presents a real person saying or doing something they did not, in a way that could mislead viewers. Do not create sexual content involving real people without consent, and never involving minors.

How generation works

AnimateX sends your selected image, extracted video frame or prompt to third-party AI models, then stores the returned media privately in your account.

Results are probabilistic. The same prompt can produce different output each time, framing and detail may vary, and some requests will fail. Failed generations release the credits held for them.

Mature Mode (18+)

Mature Mode is an optional setting you can enable in your profile. You must be 18 or older to enable it, and you must confirm that explicitly. It is free on every plan and off by default.

Mature Mode allows mature but non-explicit creative themes: stronger language, darker horror and suspense, cinematic violence, gritty crime, adult comedy, nightclub settings, suggestive romance and flirtation, and revealing but non-nude clothing.

Mature Mode does not permit nudity, pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexualised intimate anatomy, or tasteless sexualisation of any person. These remain prohibited on AnimateX in every mode.

Sexual or suggestive content involving minors, or anyone who could reasonably be taken for a minor, is prohibited in every mode and is never affected by Mature Mode.

You may not create non-consensual explicit content, sexual deepfakes, nudification of a real person, or content that removes clothing from a real person's photo or video. Uploading a real person never unlocks explicit or sexualised output.

Requests that cross these limits are refused before generation starts and are not charged to your credit balance. AnimateX may switch Mature Mode off platform-wide at any time.

Prohibited output

Unlawful content, child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, harassment of an identifiable person, extremist propaganda, medical or financial deception, and content designed to defraud are all prohibited regardless of what was uploaded.

Reporting and enforcement

Content that breaches this policy may be removed and the account suspended. Serious misuse may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Labelling AI content

Where you publish AnimateX output, we encourage — and some platforms and jurisdictions require — that you disclose it as AI-generated.
